What to Expect at Auditions

The audition is a friendly, low-pressure experience designed to help us understand each singer's current abilities. The process takes about five minutes and includes:

  • Range testing - Finding the comfortable singing range

  • Call and response - Simple melodic patterns to echo

  • Short vocal excerpt - A brief song or melody

No preparation is needed! We're simply getting to know each singer's voice.

For Parents: We invite you to wait in the social hall while your student auditions. Families arriving at 4:30 PM are welcome to attend a short informational meeting about the choir program and our mission.
