Artistic Director

David Vanderbout

David Vanderbout is honored to build upon the Chorale’s mission of enriching our community through high-quality and diverse chorale performances in his role as Artistic Director.

In addition to serving as the Chorale’s Artistic Director, David is the Director of Choral Music at Jesuit High School, where he enjoys working with students to discover and foster a passion for choral music and build community.

David received his Master of Music in Choral Conducting and Bachelor of Music in Music Education from California State University, Sacramento. In addition to his teaching duties, David performs regularly as a soloist and in ensembles throughout the region.

Dean Mora

A native of Los Angeles, Dean has been enjoying a career as a professional pianist and organist for the past 25 years, playing in many gigs involving a wide variety of music genres including jazz, rock, latin, classical and musical theater.

For the Disney organization, Dean’s ragtime ensemble recorded the background music tracks for Main Street USA, which have been heard by millions over the years. He is also staff organist at the famed El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood, a position he has held since 2013.

Dean is currently the organist/choir director for St. Lukes Episcopal Church in Woodland, as well as the staff accompanist for the boys’ choirs at Jesuit High School in Sacramento.
