The River City Chorale is thrilled to announce auditions for our upcoming 2025-2026 season!
The River City Chorale has been bringing fine choral music to the greater Sacramento region for almost five decades. Founded in 1976, the River City Chorale’s mission is to inspire and enrich our community through high-quality and diverse choral performances. Our auditioned choir performs three distinctively different sets of concerts each season, with repertoire that includes classical, folk, multicultural, pop, jazz, and musical theatre. In addition, the Chorale tours internationally and has produced numerous recordings.

Open Rehearsal
Monday, August 11th, 7:00 - 9:00 pm
Are you interested in joining our choir but feeling nervous about auditioning? We're hosting an Open Rehearsal for prospective members to experience firsthand what makes the River City Chorale truly special. This no-pressure opportunity gives you the chance to envision yourself as part of our choir while asking questions and getting to know our singers, ensuring that the River City Chorale feels like the right musical home for you before taking the next step in your audition journey.
During the rehearsal, we will:
Work through our current music repertoire
Provide guidance on vocal techniques
Practice the actual music that will be used during your audition.
This is a great opportunity to:
Learn how our director works with the choir
Meet current choir members
Familiarize yourself with our rehearsal style
Gain confidence before your audition
Answer your questions about the choir and audition process
No pre-registration required. Just bring your enthusiasm and love for singing!

Ad Specifications
All ads should be submitted in high-resolution PDF format (300 dpi minimum). All fonts and graphics must be embedded.
The file dimensions should be the actual size of the ad. For example, a PDF file submitted for ¼ ad should measure 2.45 x 3.97 in. No crop or registration marks are needed.

Since 1977 the River City Chorale has provided beautiful music of all genres to this community. We are especially proud of the fact that we bring that music to suburban areas particularly in appealing to seniors who may have financial or practical challenges in partaking of similar artistic groups.
There are so many worthy causes to consider in the Big Day of Giving. The members of RCC think that we provide a special service to our community, we keep our ticket prices low, offer a very eclectic selection of music, and, most of all, present our concerts in venues that are readily accessible and located in beautiful suburban settings.
